According to DIN 7081,DIN 7080 Manufacturing Process Steps
In our level gauge glass production process, we follow the following steps
1. Glass rod raw material Entry
The production process starts with choosing high-quality glass rod materials. These raw materials are the foundation for making standard glass. They greatly affect the strength and clarity of the finished product.
2. Glass blank pressing
The glass rods are softened by heat and then pressed into shape in a precision mold to create a blank glass.
3. Glass thinning
To get the right thickness, the blank glass goes through a careful thinning process. Advanced machines and technology provide uniform thinning. This helps to make the glass flat and parallel.
4. Advanced Glass Chamfering
Chamfering is key in glass processing, especially for instrument glass. It reduces the risk of stress points and weak spots. Advanced chamfering technology makes smooth, rounded edges. This boosts glass safety and durability while lowering the chance of breakage.
5. Glass double-sided grinding
Grind both sides of the glass. This makes sure the thickness is even. It also helps fix any bumps, improves flatness, and removes burrs.
6. Double or Single-Sided Polishing
Polishing is a critical step in further refining the surface of gauge glass. Polishing techniques remove burrs and scratches from the glass. This creates a flawless, clear surface.
7. Cleaning Gauge Glass
Before the final stage of production, called tempering, we clean instrument glass well. This removes any particles or residues. If not cleaned, these can affect performance or safety during use.
8.Tempered Liquid Level Gauge Glass
The final step is to temper the gauge glass. This process boosts its strength, impact resistance, temperature resistance, and abrasion resistance. It does this by creating compressive stress on the glass surface. As a result, the glass becomes suitable for tough industrial settings.
9. Printing and packaging
We can meet customer needs by printing trademarks and dates on the glass. We also customize carton labels and make wooden boxes for safe glass transport.
